Dollins pleads guilty
![]() |
Michael Clay Dollins pleaded guilty Jan. 7 to one count of felony property destruction stemming from a November incident in which he rammed his GMC Yukon into a residence on North Monkey Mountain Road.
Dollins is charged with the destruction of more than $1,000 of property and faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison or a $10,000 fine.
The incident began Nov. 7 after Dollins, 33, repeatedly called and texted his wife, Antoinnette Dollins, who had an active protection order against him, according to an affidavit filed by Converse County Sheriff’s Deputy Trevor Wright.
The affidavit states that, shortly afterwards, Jason Quillinan (who had filed harassment and threats complaints against M. Dollins earlier that day) spotted M. Dollins driving past his residence on North Monkey Road. Two deputies patrolled the area along with an officer from the Glenrock Police Department for about four hours in an unsuccessful attempt to locate M. Dollins, according to the affidavit.
The next morning, two deputies responded to a 911 call from Quillinan advising that M. Dollins was “running his vehicle into (Quillinan’s) house.” The deputies attempted to locate M. Dollins with no success, but found Quillinan’s front door “smashed in.” They also collected car parts that matched the color of the vehicle that M. Dollins had reportedly been driving, according to the affidavit.
Deputies contacted M. Dollins via telephone and he agreed to turn himself in. Wright then arrested M. Dollins without incident later that evening.
Douglas’ Seventh Judicial District Court deferred Dollin’s sentencing until after the completion of a Wyoming Department of Corrections Presentence Investigation Report.
