CONVERSE COUNTY, WYOMING

CHALK BUTTES & RIDGEWATER ROAD PROJECT

Converse County is requesting Bids for the Chalk Buttes and Ridgewater Road, Project #10417642. Bids will be received at the Converse County Road & Bridge Facility, 44 Twin Bridges Road, Douglas, WY 82633, until Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, at 1:00pm local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Reconstruction of the entire 3.8 miles of County Road 9 (Chalk Buttes Road) beginning at Wyoming Highway 91 (Cold Springs Road) and extending East to Wyoming Highway 94 (Esterbrook Road). Also includes Reconstruction of County Road 64 (Ridgewater Road) Beginning at Corbett Road approximately 80 feet North of the Ridgewater Road intersection and West of the intersection at the existing cattle guard extending East 0.8 Miles to CR9. The project generally consists of roadway rehabilitation and culvert replacement.  Overall, the Project generally includes approximately: 27,500 tons of crushed base gravel, 17,000 tons of asphalt pavement, 1,700 LF of pipe culvert replacement, and several other appurtenant bid items. A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Converse County Road & Bridge Conference Room, 44 Twin Bridges Road, Douglas, WY 82633.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is required and bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be obtained at www.hdrinc.com/wybids. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website; prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a Bidding Documents holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a third-party plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with Addenda, lists of registered Bidding Documents holders, reports on the Site, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, Addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
