“It was a great group effort. We came together as a team, which is what I’m really proud of ... We’re all there for each other,” - Glenrock Police Chief Tim Hurd
After a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon, police in Glenrock arrested three men on suspicion of drug charges, including possession of paraphernalia and about six ounces of marijuana.
According to the Glenrock Police Department, the arrest was made after the driver of a pickup twice failed to use his turn signal and then failed to produce a registration, proof of insurance or explain whose vehicle it was. Police say there was also a strong odor of marijuana in the vehicle.
After the men were separated and questioned, Police Chief Tim Hurd found a pipe believed to be used to smoke  methamphetamine while patting down one of them men.
Police say that a later search of the vehicle also produced a toolbox with roughly 168 grams of marijuana believed to have been legally purchased in Colorado.
The men arrested were 38-year-old Jeremy Lee Cantleberry, of Casper, who was driving; 25-year-old Justin Gibson, of Kansas; and 22-year-old Thomas Kelley, of Casper.
Police say upon questioning that the men admitted to owning the drugs.
The three were booked in the Converse County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, said Hurd.
He called the arrest a “team effort.” He said Sgt. Jason Hoppa was there to back him up within seconds, and that Officer Colter Felton was there to assist with the search.
“It was a great group effort. We came together as a team, which is what I’m really proud of ... We’re all there for each other,” he said.
