Mobile pantry food distribution in Glenrock March 12

March 7, 2018 – Casper, WY – Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies (WFBR) will hold a mobile pantry food distribution in Glenrock, Wyoming.
The WFBR, with an anonymous sponsor, will be holding a mobile pantry food distribution in Glenrock on Monday, March 12 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Glenrock Volunteer Fire Department located at 704 W. Birch St. Glenrock WY. The WFBR is planning to have enough food for 175 families. Items included will be: fresh fruits and vegetables, pasta, spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, diced peas and carrots, canned soup, toothpaste, assorted meat, ready meal kits, and personal items.
The WFBR will be distributing approximately 5,000 pounds of food equivalent to 4042 meals to Converse County families in need on Monday the 12th.

WFBR is the only Food Bank in Wyoming. Reliable access to sufficient food is an essential element in building strong and vibrant communities, stable family units, and a well-educated workforce and fosters independent living for the elderly. WFBR distributed 10,106,299 pounds of food – 8,169,258 meals – throughout the state in FY 2017 in partnership with 245 pantries.
