NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

DEDICATION OF COUNTY ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on February 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. in Commission Chambers, Converse County Courthouse, 107 N. 5th Street, Douglas, Wyoming to obtain citizens’ comments on the proposed vacation of previous alignments and dedication of the entire length of Twin Bridges Road (CR #65) as it currently exists. This survey begins at a point on the center line of N 2nd Street at the Douglas City limits and ends at the westerly R/W line of State HWY 59, being all within the SW1/4 SW1/4 of Section 4 and SE1/4 SE1/4 of Section 5, T32N R71W, Converse County, Wyoming, for a total length of one-half mile and being wholly over and across lands owned by Converse County. Typical width of dedicated road is sixty (60) feet, being thirty (30) feet on each side of surveyed center line (see plat). This dedication will not change the road currently traveled, accesses or existing addresses. A drawing and additional information regarding this proposal will be available for review in the Converse County Surveyor’s Office, 107 N 5th Street, Suite B-3, Douglas, Wyoming, or online at https://www.conversecountywy.gov/AgendaCenter. Objections and/or claims must be filed with the County Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. February 14, 2025.
