Police responded to 168 calls from Jan. 26 to Feb. 1. Arrests, citations, investigations and tales of the strange are listed with others below.

Jan. 26

  • Public Works was notified of an out street light.
  • Fire units were called out and then cancelled after an alarm was determined to be false.
  • A verbal warning was issued for driver’s side mirror problem.
  • Nicole Durham, 24, was arrested for probation violation.
  • A firearm was accidentally discharged. Minor property damage was reported but no injuries.
  • An officer responded to a deer vs. vehicle accident.

Jan. 27

  • A vicious dog was reported to Animal Control.
  • An officer was unable to locate the subject of a concerned citizen call.

Jan. 28

  • Animal Control spoke with the owner of a dog at large.
  • A verbal warning was issued for an out brake light.
  • A verbal warning was issued for an out brake light.
  • A verbal warning was issued for improper backing.
  • A verbal warning was issued for speed.
  • One subject was transported to Casper via ambulance.

Jan. 29

  • Dogs at large were returned to their owner.
  • A verbal warning was issued for registration.

  • Clint Harnack, 25, was cited for speed and driving under suspension.

Jan. 30

  • Officers assisted the converse County Sheriff’s Office with an assault/accident. One subject was transported to Casper via ambulance.
  • The parties involved in a verbal dispute were separated for the night.
  • A Glenrock High School official called police to report a disturbance involving a parent from Wright High School. The parent was gone upon the officer’s arrival.
  • An officer spoke with a subject about a civil matter.

Jan. 31

  • An officer was unable to locate a dog at large.
  • Fire units were dispatched to an oven fire.
  • A 16-year-old juvenile was cited for possession of marijuana.
  • An officer was unable to locate the subject of a driving complaint.
  • An officer was unable to locate cows reported loose on Burbaker Road.
  • A verbal warning was issued for white light to the rear.
  • A repair order was issued for an out tail light.

Feb. 1

  • An officer assisted a motorist with gas.
  • A dog at large was transported to the pound.
  • An email scam was reported and the subject was referred to the Department of Justice.
  • A verbal warning was issued for speed.
