Digging Back in Time

Stuart McCrary, Executive Director of Glenrock’s Paleon Museum, gives a presentation to first graders from Grant Elementary Feb. 17. McCrary and volunteer Jessica Smith showed the tools used in the field of Paleontology, discussed what can be learned from fossils and passed around examples of prehistoric teeth for the students to touch.

The presentation is just one of the education outreach services offered by the Paleon Museum and those interested in more information are encouraged to call 436-2667.
