Election Letters Policy

With the primary election fast approaching, it is time for us to reiterate our policy on political letters to the editor in the waning days of the campaign.

We do not print letters endorsing or criticizing a candidate or bringing up new issues in a campaign in the week before the election. Thus, the last edition for letter writers to have their opinions in the Glenrock Independent will be Aug. 5 issue, with the deadline for submission at noon Aug. 3.

Any letters received after that deadline will be held until after the primary election, which is Aug. 17.
