Care will get my vote

TO THE EDITOR:

After reading last week’s letter to the editor regarding making an informed decision in the mayor race, I decided to educate myself on the people running for office.

I have decided that Linda Care is the person to vote for. Not only has she been an active volunteer in Glenrock for many years, serving on several boards and commissions, she is currently the Mayor Pro Tem and has served on the town council for the past seven years. She is very much involved in our community and is very well informed on the current issues facing Glenrock. I wholeheartedly agree with the author of last week’s letter, we need to have a forward, progressive and proactive mayor and town council. I feel this is the only way we, as a community, can move forward and yet protect ourselves from the unsavory aspects of growth. I also agree that we cannot stay the same.

I believe Linda Care is the best candidate for mayor and truly has the best intentions for the future of Glenrock in mind.
