The Magic Chefs 4-H club held a meeting July 18, at 12:30 p.m., in the Glenrock Baptist Church. Chelsea Hiser led the American pledge and Dusty Horn led the 4-H pledge. Roll call topic was, “What is your favorite part of county fair?”
The club unanimously approved Clint Johnson as Director of Lawn Operations. They also discussed moving boxes at the library for their book sale and helping out at the Deer Creek Museum. The group will meet at the museum to see how they can help out with the sale on Aug. 1, at 1 p.m. There will be a meeting held at this time.
It was motioned to change the signature card at the bank so that Jessica Johnson, Margaret Grant, and Tansey Sussex are the only people listed. Dusty moved and Chelsea seconded this motion.
They discussed holding a demonstration day and agreed to figure the details out at their next meeting. Sandy Hiser will bring refreshments.
This is part of the July 29, 2010 online edition of The Glenrock Independent.
