It was truly a silent night around Glenrock on New Year’s Eve, as residents rang in 2009 in relatively responsible and orderly form.

Glenrock police responded to five calls over an 11 hour period from 2008 to 2009 with only two being alcohol related and none involving drinking and driving, according to officer Michael Kavenius.
